Our partnerships with industry, government and entrepreneurs allow us to enhance access to health care and bring new solutions to market.
MSU has partnered with Henry Ford Health to reimagine health care innovation, deliver health and wellness and fight health disparities that plague vulnerable communities. As researchers, faculty, administrators and students, we are initiating programs in crucial areas affecting health and wellness including health equity, cancer, population health and neuroscience

Institutional Partners
MSU’s collaboration with McLaren Greater Lansing will expand access to quality care for mid-Michigan residents, improve health outcomes and expand access to new life-changing therapies and treatments through shared research and discovery.
Sparrow Hospital is key clinical partner in Lansing, affiliated with our medical schools. MSU Health Care also partners with Sparrow Health System on robust range of care services.
Community Partners
Greater Grand Rapids is home to the Medical Mile, a world-class healthcare destination attracting medical professionals from around the world.More than 1,000 volunteer clinical faculty participate in the education of our students and residents. The MSU Grand Rapids Innovation Park is a collaborative health innovation hub for biomedical research, bioengineering and health technology.
Educational Partners
Students must complete 40 hours of a structured service-learning experience as a required curriculum component for graduation. This experience combines community service with preparation and reflection.
MSU College of Osteopathic medicine partners with Michigan hospitals that are part of the college's Statewide Campus System (SCS) to provide clerkship educational opportunities for our students.
The College of Nursing utilizes partnerships with numerous individual nurses, healthcare organizations and institutions to enhance the skills of nursing professionals and positively impact the evolving healthcare system.
