MSU Health Sciences aligns the colleges of Human Medicine, Osteopathic Medicine and Nursing, as well as our patient-focused health care providers. Our shared goal is to advance the science and experience of health for patients near and far.
Our culture is focused on compassion, collaboration and excellence and you can expect to find these values portrayed across the entire organization. Together, we are creating health care solutions that are easier to discover, implement, and access.
Working with government and industry partners, MSU is setting new standards for individuals and communities to access better health care across the state of Michigan and the U.S. These efforts enable us to contribute health, hope and healing for all.
MSU is the only Big Ten university that is home to two medical schools and a nationally recognized college of nursing. We’re proud of the diversity, knowledge and goals of our 3,200+ students. Together, we are aggressive in our efforts to address the current shortage of health care providers in Michigan and across the industry.
MSU Health Care is the university’s academic health center and includes more than 600 faculty and affiliate providers with expertise in 25 adult and pediatric specialties. Their mission is to make quality care easier to access for mid-Michigan residents.
When we work with government and industry partners, we share knowledge, experience and access to resources. Discoveries can then be scaled so innovations are shared to create healthier communities.
Michigan State University Health Sciences — the colleges of Human Medicine, Osteopathic Medicine and Nursing, as well as MSU Health Care — are working together to increase diversity, equity and inclusion through curriculum transformation for students, the expansion of professional development opportunities for staff and ensuring inclusivity and fairness in promotion and tenure track of faculty.
Bringing health, hope and healing to all
